Bruce Castle Museum

IMPORTANT UPDATE - 19 March 2020

Bruce Castle Museum and Archives – Closure to the Public

We regret the remaining events for Women's History Month (see below) and all of the museum's other events, talks, family activities and Reminiscence Café have been cancelled following the statement issued by Haringey Council in line with Government advice on Coronavirus. More here at Friends of Bruce Castle News and the latest news at Bruce Castle Museum website (opens in new window).

Haringey Council statement:

We are getting in touch with all participants for Women's History Month events to update them with the council's decision moving forward following the government's announcement last night. In line with government guidance to reduce non-essential social contact and to ease the pressure on attendees who are deciding whether they should attend events following government advice, we have sadly taken the decision that as of today, 17th March 2020, all Women's History Month events are cancelled.

We would like to thank all our contributors, organisers and attendees for their passion, commitment and for making this year's programme a true reflection of the inspiring contribution that women have made - and continue to make - to Haringey and beyond.

We thank you for your continued support in these uncertain times.

We are hopeful that the Women's Liberation Movement - 50 years event might be possible to reconvene at some point, in better times.
